A2 The count

Price the ladder work, not a guess.

Set one pane rate and what each story above the ground adds to it. Paneramic does the arithmetic the same way on every quote, whoever writes it.

  1. Count it at the curb

    Walk the home one time. Record the panes on each story, the screens, the tracks and the glass with hard-water spotting. The count is filed under the address, next to the gate code.

  2. Price each story

    Second-story glass is priced like second-story glass on every quote. Screens, tracks and hard-water treatment are their own lines.

  3. Re-quote while they wait

    When last spring's customer calls again, the count is already there, and the quote is ready before the call ends.
